What a calm and peaceful day.
I enter my room, put down my prayer rug, and began to pray. All commotion, any thoughts that may bring tension float far far away. It is just me praising and worshiping Allah. There is a oneness that is very hard to explain unless you are in that zone. The only way to describe it is imagining being in a full strength hurricane, then suddenly it is over. Yes, there is ruin and destruction around, but there is a magnificent calm. The feeling of coming through the storm and surviving. Allah has His arms around you like a blanket that is all warm and safe. Nothing in this world can harm you. The response is wanting to give him all of the praise for He is Great, and He is Most Forgiving.
