Assalamu Alaikum!
I have missed communicating with you sooooooo much!
I have been adjusting to being remarried. This is the husband I was married to for 10 years, then divorced from for 3 years, and then remarried to last year.
This time we married as a Muslim couple, after he did his Shahada. Wow! It has been quite an adjustment. It has been very difficult for him to put behind his old habits.I have found myself getting very upset with him. I know, I know it will take awhile. Everything is a process.
In the meantime, I keep reading the Qur'an. I am doing my prayers, but I must admit that I did slack for a couple of weeks. Yes, my conscience really beat me up, too!
I really must stay focused on Islam. I know that being patient with my husband could be an up hill battle until he has the knowledge that he needs to fully understand Islam and it's way.
What I do know, is that my husband acknowledges God. I will let Allah lead me in a way so that I may help him get closer to the truth.
